Web Hosting Guide
What do you mean by web hosting?
I know how to buy a domain name but then i m being told to register to a web hosting site or watever. I can make my site on Front page but how do i upload it and what is meant by web hosting?. Please guide me through this.

Once a website is completely developed these pages have to be connected to the internet. So that when a user types www.domain.com the pages which was developed is shown to the users.
Web hosting actually involves two steps that is booking a domain name and buying a web space:
· We buy the web space to host the website which was developed; we call it as hosting on the server. To host on to a server we need service providers who actually provide this service at the cost defined by them.
· www.domainame.com is called a domain, which is nothing but an address. Every hosting should contain at least a domain name. But Web hosting is the place where your pages actually resides.
yes it is neccessary to have webhosting. See domain name is just an address for the end user, but there are no pages which can display. So when you buy webhosting along with domain name, automatically that domain will point to the server, and the files which needs to be shown when the user types the address.. In simple just understand, domain name is just a pointer to your webpages, and webpages are actually hosted in web hosting server..
